GARY J. BAUMGARTNER

Managing Partner, Southwest Beacon Investments
Gary Baumgartner is Founder and Chairman of GJB Inc., a private investment research firm. Mr. Baumgartner is also a Managing Partner at Southwest Beacon Investments (SWB) a private equity real estate syndicate. Mr. Baumgartner entered the downstream oil industry in 1974. In 1994, he Co-Founded International Alliance Group as a vehicle to deliver leading edge technology to refiners worldwide, utilizing proprietary knowledge and technology in partnership with UOP/Honeywell. Mr. Baumgartner holds three patents related to his work in refining for FCC control valves and calcined petroleum coke calcining. After serving 40 years in downstream oil, Mr. Baumgartner shifted his focus to investment through both private and public markets. Since 2012, Mr. Baumgartner, through GJB Inc., directs all investments for his family office utilizing the research and relationships developed through GJB Inc. In addition to his roles with SWB and GJB Inc., Mr. Baumgartner is a member of several advisory boards, including the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). In addition, Mr. Baumgartner is a Senior Advisor to the President and CEO of CSIS. In this capacity, Mr. Baumgartner serves on several commissions focused on U.S. energy policy and trade.
ADAM MOYERS

Mr. Moyers is Chief Financial Officer at GJB Inc and Partner at Southwest Beacon Investments (SWB). As Chief Financial Officer at GJB Inc., Mr. Moyers has management responsibility over the company’s financials. As Partner at SWB, Mr. Moyers is involved in the execution of all SWB investments. Since joining GJB Inc. in 2013, Mr. Moyers has served in a range of roles including accountant, financial manager, business development consultant, and many others. Over the years, Mr. Moyers has cultivated deep working relationships with development teams in southwestern Texas. In 2018, after several years of successful commercial real estate investment projects, Mr. Moyers and Mr. Baumgartner formed SWB as a vehicle to bring value and superior returns to a growing network of investors throughout the U.S. Prior to joining GJB Inc. in 2013, Mr. Moyers was an accountant at a Big 4 accounting firm. Mr. Moyers received a BS and MAcc from the University of Missouri.
